Dog Walking

What It's All About - What You'll Receive with Dog Walking!

When you book a dog walking experience it is me that comes to walk your beloved dog (in your area). On occassion, my Grandma will accompany me  to help out or simply just to enjoy the outdoors and animals! I will meet with you and your dog, we will go on a short walk (free of charge) so I can assess your pooches behaviour. You will then simply fill-out a dog information form and contract agreement and then we can go from there!

We will start off by going for a very heart-healthy on-leash walk (weather permitting). I walk only family dogs together (3 max) unless requested to walk with another 'friend'. Your dogs must be spayed or neutered (for behavioural/safety reasons) and have their shots up to date, as they can contract things along the way just from smelling an infected dogs feces.

On this walk, I like to walk the dogs close by my side or a bit behind me, showing that I am the 'top dog'. This will put the dog's mind in a calm-submissive state, making the walk actually more enjoyable for everyone!

If you have a routine you want me to strictly follow, I will do so. I will follow any instructions provided by my customers as long as it is in no way related to abusive/harsh methods! It could be as simple as asking me to make sure they walk with their 'shoes' on or that they follow a certain route. If you ask, you'll receive!

When the weather's nice, I sometimes like to take the pooches to a secured outdoor rink (if there's one in your area) and let them run and fetch a ball. My dogs love this!

After the walk, I will make sure their feet/coat are wiped off, free of any dirt/dampness they may have picked up along the way. Fresh water will also be provided for them, along with an all natural treat (if allowed).

When I see them tuckered out and head straight for their bed, I know I have done a job well done!

Please make sure to book for your next walk if you haven't already done so. We are filling up fast!

**I am by no means a licensed trainer or certified, but I do believe in Cesar Millan (Dog Whisperer) and I like to apply his methods! It has worked great for my pups!

**I am not currently trained in pet first-aid/CPR (trying very hard to find this course offered somewhere) but I have created my own pet first-aid kit (which I bring along when visiting pets) and have read up on pet first-aid/CPR, giving me a basic knowledge in the event of an emergency.
